SouthEast Wisconsin Master Gardeners Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties

Who is a Master Gardener?Anyone who is interested in learning more about nurturing plants and sharing that knowledge with others is a good candidate to become a Master Gardener.Master Gardeners are volunteers trained by UW-Extension specialists and agents in many aspects of horticulture. In return for their training, Master Gardeners volunteer to help with UW-Extension educational programs in horticulture and a wide variety of community service projects.

Master Gardener Level 1 Training (formerly called General Training), will be held September through December each year.

Waukesha County location (County Courthouse)  Afternoon Dates
Milwaukee County location  (Boerner Botanical Gardens)  Evening Dates
Classes will begin on September 4, 2014
Registration Form and Background Check
A limited number of $80 training scholarships are available from SouthEast Wisconsin Master Gardeners (SEWMGs) for Milwaukeee and Waukesha county residents with financial need.
