Who is a Master Gardener?
Anyone who is interested in learning more about nurturing plants and sharing that knowledge with others is a good candidate to become a Master Gardener.
Master Gardeners are volunteers trained by UW-Extension specialists and agents in many aspects of horticulture. In return for their training, Master Gardeners volunteer to help with UW-Extension educational programs in horticulture and a wide variety of community service projects.
Master Gardener Level 1 Training (formerly called General Training), will be held September through December each year.
