Next Session: TBD: This hands-on workshop focuses on needs assessment as a popular method/approach for understanding the context for your programming. It includes stakeholder engagement, identifying sources of data, introduction to basic data collection methods (such as surveys, interviews and focus groups), how to identify and prioritize the focus of your programming, and an introduction to other methods for understanding context and where you can learn more.
Participants can expect to engage in a number of fun, practical exercises that will help them think about their programs in different ways and confidently apply new skills directly to their own work. Links to resources for more in-depth information on particular subject areas of interest will also be provided.
We encourage participants to come with an existing or yet-to-be program effort in mind.
This interactive workshop starts at 9:00 AM and ends at approximately 3:00 PM, with lunch included.
