Private Applicator Training Sessions

Private Applicator Training / Review Sessions

Private Applicators can get certified in three categories: General Farming, Fruits Crops or Greenhouse & Nursery.

As a Private Applicator you have to receive training and certification to apply RUPs. If you are not going to be using any RUPs then you do not need to legally be certified. To receive training and certification, purchase and study one of the above Private Applicator Training manuals from your County Extension office and do one of the two options below:

1) Study on your own and the take the certification exam at your County Extension office or,

2) Go to a training session offered by your County Extension Office. The exam will be given at the end of the training session.

Simple enough, now how do you get into one of those training sessions?  Simply by contacting your County Extension Office to register.  Below is a list of training sessions at county Extension offices in Wisconsin or you can go to the PAT Program Events Calendar.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact the PAT Program or your County Extension Office.
