UW-Extension Environmental Outreach

On-the-water, iPaddling on Fish Creekn the field, or in a classroom here are engaging environmental educational programs for students, adults, and families that promote the sustainability of the region’s natural resources for the benefit of communities and cultures that rely on them.

We partner with federal, state, tribal partners, citizens, schools and natural resource professionals to address natural resource issues affecting the Lake Superior region and beyond.

Many of these program are offered through the UW-Extension Environmental Resources Center and offered at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center (NGLVC). The NGLVC is located 2 miles west of Ashland, WI on County G. Most programs can be customized and outreached for your location.
