Local Food Marketing Strategies Workshop Scheduled for March 19 in Burlington

Farmers who are looking to sell their farm products to local sales outlets such as restaurants, grocery stores etc., and buyers who are interested in local foods are invited to attend the Local Food Marketing Strategies Workshop on Wed., March 19 from 9-12 at the Veteran’s Terrace in Burlington.

The program will include a representative from the Wisconsin Food Hub Cooperative who will discuss their model for connecting local farmers and buyers. This will be followed by a panel discussion including farmers and buyers. Panelists include Peter Fritsch from Rushing Waters in Palmyra, Peter Sandroni from La Merenda Restaurant and William Quinn from Outpost Coop, both from Milwaukee, Jordan Koster with Lake Geneva Produce and Eric Rose from River Valley Ranch, both from Burlington, and a representative from the WildRoot Coop in Racine.
