About the JCMGVA

The Jefferson County Master Gardener Volunteer Association (JCMGVA) has been a master gardener association since 2007. We currently have 36 certified Master Gardeners, with additional inactive MG members.

From September to May, excluding December, we meet monthly on the second Thursday, at the Extension, Jefferson County Office at 864 Collins Road in Jefferson. The  General Meeting is at 6:45, and speakers or education are scheduled at 7:00. The Executive Committee meets prior to the General Meeting, at 6:00.  Room numbers are posted at the East entrance.

The JCMGVA is active in many gardening-related projects across the county. Check out the ‘Volunteerism’ link to learn more about our projects.

Check out the ‘Events’ link to learn more about educational offerings in the area.
