Garden Line and Garden Clinic Services Available


Do you have a question on gardening, flowers, lawn, trees or insects? Call the GARDENLINE at 715-261-1237 or 1-800-234-1471. A trained Master Gardener Volunteer will return your call. This service is available from May through September every year.  You can also send your question(s) to us via our Garden Line Request Form.


In addition to this phone service, insect and disease samples can be brought into the UW Extension office. During the summer months Master Gardener Volunteers will help to identify bug and disease issues. Volunteers will be available to answer general gardening questions WEDNESDAYS ONLY from 10 am—2 pm starting May 10, 2017 continuing through September 27, 2017. No appointment is necessary to speak with a Volunteer.

The UW-Extension office is located at 212 River Dr., Suite 3,  Wausau.

We will not be holding a Garden Clinic in Weston, as we have done in the past, but may consider doing so in the future.

Master Gardener Volunteers have completed 36 hours of training conducted by University specialists, county Extension agents, and local experts. Master Gardener Volunteers access University research-based yard and garden information to inform the public.
