- Aquaculture as local food
We will be investigating ways to support Wisconsin aquaculture by assessing the marketing needs of producers and perceptions of consumers about eating locally farmed fish. This project was recently funded through Wisconsin Sea Grant.
- Testing local food messages on social media
What messages are most appealing to consumers in online environments? We are working with different groups that promote local food to learn more about best practices for advertising local food.
- Farmers’ market manager communication needs
We are involved in ongoing research about communication and data needs of farmers’ market managers in Wisconsin, along with partners in Urban & Regional Planning and Agricultural Economics at UW-Madison.
