Lincoln County 4-H Volunteer’s Club – Helping Make Volunteers Better

As a 4-H volunteer, do you want to be more active in 4-H, but don’t know where to start?  Have you ever wondered what other opportunities are available in Lincoln County 4-H?  Have you ever felt that you don’t have any new ideas to share?  Or perhaps you have many new ideas but just don’t know how to get started with them.  Do you wish that you had a group meeting that you could go to, to spend some time talking to other 4-H volunteers, just to build a better 4-H community?

You’re in luck!  The Lincoln County 4-H Leaders Association is sponsoring a “Lincoln County 4-H Volunteer’s Club”.  These meetings would be much like a club meeting, with a (very) short business session, a time for exchanging ideas and inspiration and a final time for snacks and get-to-know-everyone-better social time.  We would like to have two to three meetings a year, if there is an interest.

The very first Lincoln County 4-H Volunteer’s Club meeting will be held June 20th, 6 pm at the Lincoln County Service Center.  In this hour-long meeting, we will brainstorm what we can do to help volunteers and there will be information on the many opportunities that 4-H provides for adult volunteers. There will also be snacks and time for networking and socializing.

Come and help build a better 4-H volunteer community here in Lincoln County!
