Karvana is located in the Paul Jules Saloon Building, an 1883 Italianate Style building in the Broadway-Walnut Historic District, is among the older buildings in the district. The building’s two storefronts were always occupied by a saloon throughout the district”s historic period. The building now houses Karvana, a salon, interior design firm, and a communications firm. During renovation and restoration, the façade was restored to its historic look, removing boarded-up first level windows, partially bricked-up second story windows, and a 1960s manstard roof.

Karvana is making strides in being a model green business, purchasing 100% of their electricity through the local green power program, using compostable corn plastics, paper recyclable cups, and using organic foods when possible, and hosts the Green Bay Green Drinks monthly meeting. Karvana is a popular meeting space for local community organizations.
