Make a Yogurt Parfait with your child and have them practice their skills!

Preschool-age children could:

  • Find words on a recipe that start with a certain letter. They may be able to read or sound out some words.
  • Learn new words.
  • Count the number of pieces of fruit going into the parfaits.

Older children could:

  • Read and follow recipe directions.
  • Determine how much of each ingredient in a recipe to add if the recipe is doubled or cut in half.
