Energy Self Assessment Tool

The Energy Self-Assessment tool is a tool that can calculate your farm’s baseline energy use and make recommendations of equipment that can reduce your energy footprint without affecting your process but shave your energy bills. This tool covers dairy farms, grain drying, crop storage (potatoes and onions), irrigation, lighting, livestock water fountains and greenhouses for energy efficiency. For renewable energy, it has tools for solar electric, solar thermal, wind, biogas (anaerobic digestion), biomass, and wind-solar water pumping.
