YALPE: Youth & Staff Self Evaluation Process

The YALPE Resource Kit supports your group through all phases of evaluation, from collecting data to using results for organizational improvement. YALPE includes a step-by-step guided process, surveys, tip sheets, and templates for data entry, analysis, and report writing.

The YALPE Resource Kit allows youth and staff to evaluate and strengthen the quality of their programming. It can also be used to communicate program strengths to funders and inform governing boards and strategic planning processes.

So, what does YALPE stand for? — “Youth and Adult Leaders for Program Excellence: A Practical Guide for Program Assessment and Action Planning.” That is a mouthful. But many young people and adult partners tell us that YALPE is practical and easy to use.
