Mycotoxins in Grain

Mycotoxins are toxins that are produced by fungi inhabiting livestock grain. Only a few mycotoxins are of major concern for livestock owners. Aflatoxin, zearalenone, fumonisin, deoxynivalenol, and a couple of other mycotoxins are the ones to be concerned with for pigs.

With harvest in full swing, you may want to consider testing your grain for mycotoxins prior to feeding it.
