Sixty Wisconsin Communities Risk Illness from Pathogens in Drinking Water

Most of us take for granted that our drinking water is safe. But a surprisingly large number of Wisconsin Communities (with populations as high as 8,400) risk ongoing illness in children and the elderly from viruses and other pathogens in unsanitized water supply systems.

A  new publication by the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey and SHWEC, Municipal Drinking Water Safety,  describes the link between illness and municipal drinking water supplies that are not disinfected. To read more download:
