Who is a Master Gardener?
Anyone who is interested in learning more about nurturing plants and sharing that knowledge with others is a good candidate to become a Master Gardener.
Master Gardeners are volunteers trained by UW-Extension specialists and agents in many aspects of horticulture. In return for their training, Master Gardeners volunteer to help with UW-Extension educational programs in horticulture and a wide variety of community service projects.
Master Gardener Level 1 Training (formerly called General Training), starting in 2012 will be held September through December each year. Registration Information will be posted here in mid to late July. Questions or to be put on the mailing list call 414-256-4661 or email Nancy Lehrer
