Hop growers are invited to attend a Field Day hosted by University of Wisconsin-Extension and featuring plant and insect specialists. The same program will be held July 15 near Waterloo, Wis. and July 16 near Arkansaw, Wis.
Presenters and topics are:
— Dr. David Gent, USDA – Oregon State University, Hop Disease and Production Specialist; “Assessing Hop Plant Health”
— Dr. Amanda Gevens, UW-Extension Plant Pathologist; “Hop Plant Disease Evaluation”
— Bryan Jensen, UW-Extension IPM Coordinator; “What’s Bugging Your Hops”
The field day will also include field tours of a hop yard.
The July 15 Field Day will be held from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at NuSolutions Agronomy – Dave Buss, N1926 County Highway II, Warterloo, Wisconsin.
The July 16 Field Day will be held from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Ag Resource, Inc. – Luke Albers at N5988 County Rd N, Arkansaw, Wisconsin.
