Patty Bailey, retail manager of Oak Village Garden Center will talk about “Over-Wintering Tropical Plants and Favorite Houseplants.”   Be successful with the plants you bring into your home by learning proper watering techniques, knowing how to transplant container plants, and offering them appropriate levels of light.

October 13th - 14th, 2017

Make plans now to attend the 2017 WIMGA Annual Conference in October. Hosted by the Washington County Master Gardener Association, the conference will be in West Bend, Wisconsin. Sessions include topics such as gardening for pollinators, deer resistant landscapes, permaculture, Facebook for MGVs, extending the growing season and much more. Many speakers including Mike Maddox, Edgar and Martine Anderson and Susan Carpenter will share their expertise on a variety of garden-centric subjects.
