What is this thing called social networking? Why might I want to use these tools to grow my business?
Social networking applications can benefit small business by keeping your customers/friends communicating with you; inform customers what products and services are available; a convenient way to let customers know of special sales; promote buying local; and can present products to a geographically diverse number of prospects to grow the business.
The Building Community Capacity through Broadband (BCCB), Athens Area Development Corporation and the UW-Extension will be presenting the a free program to educate the benefits of social media sites, like Facebook and Twitter to reach their customers.
The Social Networking Ecommerce & Growing Your Business program will be offered Wednesday, February 29 from 4:30 PM to 6 PM at the Athens High School, Home Economics Room.
