Local Land Use Planning and Zoning Wisline Series Begins with Understanding Sign Codes

It is a “sign of the times” that local sign regulations raise many legal issues. Especially after recent court decisions about how the Free Speech under the First Amendment protections may affect local sign ordinances. The Local Land Use and Zoning WisLine Series from the Local Government Center begins January 20, 2016, by addressing this issue. Professor Brian Ohm and Planner Mike Slavney will present “Understanding Local Sign Codes” by WisLine teleconference 10:30 am to noon Wednesday January 20, 2016. Registure by phone at 608-262-0810 or online.
