When is Cows?
COWS meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month.
11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Where does COWS meet?
We meet in either:

Kenosha Public Museum
5500 1st Ave, Kenosha
or
Civil War Museum
5400 1st Ave, Kenosha

Please check the website for the program location. Also note that the location may change unexpectedly. Signs will be posted at the museums in case of last-minute change.

How much does COWS cost?
COWS is free!

Do I need to bring a lunch?
No, because of a generous donation from Rick Hansen of the North and Southside Subway locations, there is such a thing as a free lunch!

How can your organization partner with others to develop a strong, successful collaboration? Are there steps you can take to avoid frustrations and failure? Learn from the experiences of the ELCA Urban Outreach Center and UW-Extension, who have worked together on the AmeriCorps Summer VISTA program for the last five years, with varying degrees of success.

April: Local Demographics

Kenosha’s demography is changing, which affects the opportunities and challenges facing our communities and nonprofit organizations. Join Dan Veroff, Director of the University of Wisconsin Applied Population Laboratory, for an exploration of data from the 2010 Census and the American Community Survey that will identify the major characteristics and trends of local demographics.

March: United Way Community Well-Being Report

Location: Kenosha Public Museum

United Way’s Community Well-Being Report provides specific data about how Kenosha County is doing in the areas of population, education, the economy, and health. Looking at a variety of indicators, the report gives an overview of the county’s socio-economic health and how it has changed over recent years.

Join us on March 27, 2012 to learn more about the Community Well-Being Report, and to provide your thoughts about the data and its implications for our community. The majority of this session will involve roundtable discussions to identify local needs and goals.
