Rent Smart: Practical education for today’s renters
Renters currently make up more than one-third of all the households in the United States. The Rent Smart program offers guidance for people who may encounter difficulty obtaining rental housing or who are renting for the first time. Family Living educators conduct Rent Smart workshops and train professionals from other organizations how to use the program. Results show that people who complete Rent Smart are better able to navigate the rental process and develop the skills to build good landlord/tenant relationships.
