Teens were born into a digital world so they have the upper hand in being comfortable using technology but they don’t always know how to control their frustration or gloating when they lose or win a game. Teach coping skills and emotional control as you play with your teen.

Be an eParent®! Model being a “good loser” when playing digital media games by congratulating your teen on her win and asking for tips to raise your score.

Teenage brains are growing! They are becoming much better at controlling their impulses. Your modeling of positive coping skills in a fun situation can help your teen know how to cope and control his or her response in a more challenging situation.
