WisMOP in Action: Money Matters

In this Tech Tuesday, learn about the Money Matters online program that addresses a need for greater access to financial education in large rural counties.  Lori Baltrusis and Liz Lexau partnered with Molly Immendorf to develop Money Matters online financial education modules. This distance learning option allows consumers to participate in financial education through UW-Extension without the need to travel outside their community. Users do not need Internet access in their home, which is often a challenge in rural WI. Modules can be accessed by users whenever their schedules permit at libraries, through a Smart Phone, or wherever they can access the Internet.  We will discuss the need, the process, and next steps for this new and still developing online program in this session.
