Using Crisis-Tracking Software for Statewide Drought Reports. As July opens, more than half of Wisconsin is under “abnormally dry” or “moderate drought” conditions. As part of its efforts to provide reports and resources on the drought, UWEX is making use of a sophisticated software platform that’s been developed over the last four years to track emergency situations so resources can be deployed most effectively.
