The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index is a national survey that provides information on the health and well being of Americans at the national, state, city, and congressional district levels. The Index is comprised of six sub-categories:
- Life Evaluation
- Physical Health
- Emotional Health
- Healthy Behavior
- Work Environment
- Basic Access
Gallup and Healthways interview 1,000 U.S. adults nationwide each day. Respondents are asked a series of fifty-six questions related to their health and well-being.
