Census of Agriculture (USDA)

The Census of Agriculture is an source for data on agriculture in the U.S. Conducted every five years, the Census provides a detailed picture of U.S. farms and ranches and the people who operate them. he Census of Agriculture includes data for every state and county in the United States. Detailed data including specific crops and livestock, number and size of farms, and information about farm owner/operators is available at the county level.

The 2017 Census of Agriculture is scheduled to be released in December 2018.
