Sheboygan River AOC programs begin in March!

Spring is right around the corner and we are looking for volunteers (you!) to help monitor restoration results!  Join in these fun and interesting activities!

March 11 &25:  Warbler Wednesday Bird Walks, 8:00 am, meet at Esslingen Park:  You might beat the warblers, but there are bound to be waterfowl and others to see!  No registration required for these.

 March 14:  Wisconsin Frog and Toad Survey Training,  10-11:30 AM, Maywood:  Get trained to join the fun “Frog’n Fridays Crew” for 3 nights of listening for our green little friends once the waters warm up!  Presenter:  Dave Kuckuk.

 March 28: Wisconsin Frog and Toad Survey Training,  10-11:30 AM, UW-Extension Office, Room #5024:  This is your second chance to get trained to join the fun “Frog’n Fridays Crew” for 3 nights of listening for our green little friends once the waters warm up! Presenter:  Dave Kuckuk.

 March 28:  Bluebird Nest Box Crew Training,  1:30-3:30 PM, Maywood:  Get trained to join a crew to care for nest boxes placed along the river and other locations, and track nestling growth and survival.  Presenter:  Dave Kuckuk.

These programs are developed in partnership between The Sheboygan River Basin Partnership, YMCA Camp Y-Koda, and UW-Extension and funded by the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and a Wisconsin DNR Citizen-based Monitoring grant.
